SKU.KPV
RESEARCH.OVERVIEW
KPV is a tiny three-amino-acid peptide: lysine, proline, and valine. It is best known as the end piece of alpha-MSH, a larger melanocortin peptide the body uses in pigment and immune signaling. Because KPV is so small, researchers can study one short signaling motif by itself instead of the whole parent hormone — most KPV work looks at inflammatory-signaling, epithelial-barrier, and gut-research models.
- 01.Details
- Strength: 10mg. Form: lyophilized research material. Testing: third-party tested every batch. Documentation: COA for every batch.
- 02.Handling
- Keep lyophilized research material sealed, protected from light, and handled with standard laboratory controls. Follow internal SOPs for storage, reconstitution, labeling and disposal.
- 03.Regulation
- No FDA-approved KPV finished drug product exists for any indication. KPV is not listed as an FDA-approved active ingredient and is generally sold in the United States only as a research chemical for in-vitro and animal study.
- 04.Molecule
- KPV is a tripeptide composed of lysine, proline, and valine. PubChem indexes Lys-Pro-Val at CID 125672 with formula C16H30N4O4 and molecular weight 342.43 g/mol.
- 05.Testing
- Every batch is independently tested and ships with its own certificate (mass spec, HPLC purity). Use the certificate to confirm identity and purity before work begins.
